A great opportunity came along at Van der Meulen Makelaars when I was allowed to take over from Eddy van der Meulen a year and a half ago. In a short period of time, I was able to learn a lot and use my knowledge and enthusiasm for the owners who rent and tenants who rent from us.
My name is Aron Borger and I am a property manager, rental agent and also the owner of Van der Meulen Makelaars. After studying International Business & Languages, I ended up in the real estate world through various detours. A project of rental and remodeling led me to a real estate study and then I came in contact with Eddy van der Meulen. After a year of working together and learning, I took over 2023 duties from Eddy. This year was instructive for me to learn even more about the real estate market. In addition, the ideal opportunity to be able to continue this fine company and put my own spin on it.
I did the latter mostly behind the scenes; a new website, various new software, more digitization and professionalization. So that both the client and we benefit.
The thing I like most so far is the personal approach. Because of our small team, we are all very involved in the (re)rental process of the properties we rent and/or manage.
In my free time, I can be found mostly in Friesland; on the water and on the basketball court. I also enjoy going to the gym and eating out.
