Our team is a diverse mix of employees with one shared goal: providing peace of mind for both tenants and landlords. It’s that simple. We achieve this through efficient processes, enthusiasm and a deep understanding of real estate. Our core team includes Eddy van der Meulen, Boukje Jansen, Julia Miedema and Aron Borger, along with freelance colleagues for maintenance.

Aron Borger

Director

Since 2022, Aron has been a valuable addition to the Van der Meulen team. In 2023, he took over operational tasks from Eddy van der Meulen. With a fresh perspective, he now oversees and manages the company’s entire rental portfolio. Aron gained experience at Qjuel during his International Businesses and Languages course, and at a brokerage agency in Bali. You’ll often find him at the office–but even more frequently on the move, meeting new tenants, property owners, and collaboration partners.

Eddy van der Meulen

Advisor
In the 1990’s, Eddy was the first real estate agent in Groningen to specialize in renting out furnished homes. With over 40 years of experience in the industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and skills. In 2023, he passed on the daily leadership towards Aron and now continues to serve as an advisor, sharing his insights and experience.

Boukje Jansen

Administrative assistant
Boukje joined Van der Meulen Makelaars in 2022 with great enthusiasm. With decades of experience in accounting for various businesses, she ensures clear and accurate administration for both property owners and tenants. Boukje is the go-to person for all financial questions and is happy to assist you over the phone.

Julia Miedema

Rental agent
In the late summer of 2024, Julia joined the Van der Meulen Makelaars team as an assistant rental agent and office manager. She brings an innovative, creative yet realistic approach to daily rental processes and office organisation. With a background in hospitality and a passion for real estate, Julia adds great energy to the team, both in the office and out in the field with tenants and property owners.
