Our team consists of a mix of employees all with the same goal in mind: to unburden tenant and landlord. Very simple. We do this with streamlined processes, great enthusiasm and a nose for real estate. Our team consists of Eddy van der Meulen, Boukje Jansen, Julia Miedema, Aron Borger and freelance colleagues for maintenance.

Aron Borger

Director

Since 2022, Aron has strengthened the Van der Meulen Makelaars team and in 2023 he took over the operational baton from Eddy van der Meulen. With a fresh perspective, he manages and leases the company’s entire real estate portfolio. Aron gained experience at Qjuel while studying International Business and Languages and a real estate agency in Bali. You’ll find Aron in the office but even more often on the road to new tenants, owners or with collaborative partners.

Eddy van der Meulen

Advisor

Eddy was the first real estate agent in Groningen in the 1990s to begin renting out furnished housing. With over 40 years of experience in the brokerage business, he brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and expertise. In 2023, he handed the day-to-day management over to Aron and filled the role of advisor.

Boukje Jansen

Administrative assistant

Boukje enthusiastically joined the Van der Meulen Makelaars team in 2022. Boukje worked in accounting at various companies for decades. Now she is working to provide clear administration for owners and tenants at Van der Meulen Realtors. You get her on the phone with all financial questions.

Julia Miedema

Rental agent

Just after the summer of 2024, Julia made the move to join the Van der Meulen real estate team as assistant rental agent and office manager. She brings an updated, creative but also realistic view of daily rental processes and office organization. With a background in the hospitality industry and a passion for real estate, Julia contributes to the dynamics of the team, both in the office and out in the field with tenants and owners.
